BPCA has a number of committees that mirror the Association's functions, with an Executive Board member chairing each. All full members have the opportunity to join our committees, and influence changes both in the Association and the wider industry.
Each committee responsibility is to represent the ideas, decisions and proposals of their peers to the Executive Board and influence the strategy and direction of the Association. The Chair of each committee is responsible for ensuring the Executive Board is fully aware of what is happening in the industry sector represented by each committee.
Below are the current committees and meeting bodies BPCA currently have in place:
This committee represents the interests of the service sector of the public health pest control industry, with the aim of influencing key decision makers in Government on legislative proposals.
This committee represents the interests of the manufacturing and distribution sector of the public health pest control industry, with the aim of influencing key decision makers in Government on legislative proposals.
This specialist committee aims to review any issues relating to fumigation and the use of phosphine, heat, cold and other methods.
The Association also has a number of forums, which are set up to address specific issues, and may run for a limited time.
